Portraits for Christmas...

Different ways to show people who you are...
Hi everyone,
What a crazy 4 weeks since my last blog. With gigs, promo’s, opening nights, Tattoo conventions and private sittings – it’s been varied to say the least. Can you believe Christmas is only just over 2 months away – Time truly does fly.
And with the festive season in mind, brings me nicely to my next topic – Portraits. I’m currently running a great offer for studio and location portraits for Christmas.
I love portraits, such an excellent way for self expression and additionally they make fantastic presents too. Some people want a more natural approach whilst others love to experiment, dress up and push their own boundaries.
Which ever way a client goes – it’s still a portrait and captures that person at that moment in time. I recently took pictures of a male model in which we did images of how he is and images of him in a way he has not expressed himself before. He was extremely pleased with the results. Please call me or email me with any enquiries in regards to my great offer or any advice on portraits. ( Mobile 07788 414 592 and email: )

I recently shot an alternative label line which was so much fun as we were given permission to shoot in a business park in Theale which contrasted really well against the garments. Once these images are available online from the client, I will send you all a link. I worked with a fab alternative model Nitrogene and also make-up artist Magenta and with the 3 of us behind the wheel we decided to continue our photographic journey and opted for a 2nd shoot. We decided to pay tribute to the 80’s and gave our shoot the title ‘Modern Love’ after a David Bowie track of that era. The results are so good and I think captures that time wonderfully. Some are currently up on my myspace page at .

Finally but very importantly I’d like to mention an extremely great event very close to my heart which a local DJ is putting together. The event is called Thrash Cancer and will be held at the Face Bar in Reading, Berkshire on the 12 December 2009. There will be a good selection of bands, DJ’s and exhibitions to entertain and with entrance only being £5.00, that’s terrific value. I’ll also be exhibiting there which is very exciting. I’ll keep you posted on developments but please do visit their page on facebook under the name of Trash Cancer. All profits go to Cancer Research UK and We Are Macmillan Cancer Support.

Thanks for the company.
