Those who know me, know that when it comes to music I have a particular love for all that is rock and metal in persuasion. However I would never restrict myself to a particular style of anything in life because I truly believe variety is the spice that keeps everything interesting. I recently attended an EP launch for a saxophonist friend of mine in a band called Jon Speedy Band. It was fantastic. The music, the atmosphere and the sheer talent of everyone that got on that stage was brilliant.
Over the years I’ve also managed to capture a great variety from Slash and Slayer, to 10cc, Happy Mondays and even Kate Nash – I love it. It is this variety that allows me to blossom as a music photographer too. The forever challenging low lighting situations and changing photography pit rules and even the changing pit etiquette definitely lends to keeping one ‘on their toes’.
Festival season is well on its way and I’m hoping to catch a few so watch that space. But on the foremost of my mind is a woman I have not managed to photograph to date and who has influenced me since I was very young. I dearly hope that she will completely win her battle with breast cancer and tour in the near future. That woman is Chrissy Amphlett, lead singer of the Divinyls so get well soon. I will have my camera ready.
And continuing on our musical journey, stand out from the crowd and contact me for some fabulous promotional images with your own private client area for your selection viewing. My images have also featured in album sleeves so the design process is always on my mind during the sessions.
DVision Images has some great packages to cater for varying budgets.

Thanks for your time.
